P3 Music is proud to present the debut album from one of the World's greatest guitarists Simon Dinnigan. Described as "a major guitarist of the 21st Century" Simon has already had tracks featured on major selling classical compilations such BMG's "Relax", "The Sound of Classic FM" and "The Only Guitar Album You'll Ever Need". 2002 sees the release of his own "Debut" album supported by a 42 date European tour and an "Artsworld" documentary about this exceptional artist. At the age of just nine, Simon was hailed a child prodigy by leading musicians and teachers almost as soon as he picked up a guitar. Clearly a precocious talent, he gave his first public performance aged 11 and a year later performed his first full solo recital. During his two decades of public performance, Simon has appeared live at prestigious venues across Europe, the USA, Central and South America and South East Asia. In 1995, he gave the world premiere performance of the Bath Double Concerto by Barrington Phealoung composer of TV's Inspector Morse theme and the music for the film, 'Hillary and Jackie'. In 1996, he gave the premiere performance and recordings of three Jazz Sonatas by Ivor Mairants and made his New York debut to great critical acclaim. "Debut" sees Simon Dinnigan bring the works of Bach, Lauro, Narváez and Koshkin to life under his virtuosic spell. WHAT THE PRESS ARE SAYING ABOUT "DEBUT" "Simon Dinnigan is a performer whose work exudes quality and refinement. From the delicate Renaissance miniatures of Narvaez to the Baroque splendour of Bach's Violin Sonata BWV 1001, every phrase is shaped to perfection, every contrapuntal line realised…" - Classical Guitar Magazine "Simon Dinnigan shows his class" - Daily Mail
